(MENAFN) Qatar was announced to have secured a series of new agreements with the United Nations (UN), with an aim to bolster ties between the two sides.
According to one of the new Qatar-UN partnerships signed in the Doha Forum, four new UN offices will be launched in the Gulf state.
The world body and Qatar further penned a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, consisting of forming a Junior Professional Programme.
A pact was also achieved between Qatar and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as well as the UN Office for Counter-Terrorism.
