Jordanian forces fires teargas to separate people protest economic policies

(MENAFN) On Thursday, Jordanian security forces fired tear gas to sparate demonstrators crowded in a central area in Amman in refusal of the government's economic policies and the recently-endorsed income tax law.

The security forces did not allow the crowds to obstructing the streets near the prime minister's office in the Jordanian capital.

About five police members were reported to be slightly wounded in a stampede between demonstrators and the security force, according to some local media.

Hundreds of Jordanians participated in the demonstration, which also witnessed the contribution of political parties and activists.
