Jordan- Embassy of Kazakhstan celebrates national day

Amman, Dec. 13 (Petra)--The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Amman held a reception yesterday on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.

The Kazakh ambassador to Azamat Berdibay said in a speech at the ceremony that the relations between Jordan and Kazakhstan, which were established 25 years ago, have reached a high level thanks to the political will of President Nursultan Nazarbayev and His Majesty King Abdullah II.

He added that the embassy continues to work on implementing the agreements reached during His Majesty King Abdullah's visit to Kazakhstan last year, adding that there is great potential for enhancing cooperation in the field of space and defense industries, renewable energy, agriculture, livestock, trade and other fields.

The ambassador said the two sides will discuss trade and economic relations during the fifth meeting of the joint governmental committee on economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation to be held in Amman in 2019.
