(MENAFN) An Iranian political activist imprisoned for his statements on social media has been pronounced dead after sticking to a hunger strike which lasted for 80 days.
Vahid Sayadi Nasiri had been charged of offending Supreme head Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other offences.
He was discharged last March after spending two-and-a-half years in jail, however, was nabbed again five months later.
The activist called for his movement from a high-security unit of a jail in the city of Qom to another location.
