Istanbul police nab 12 IS suspects in raids


(MENAFN) Turkish media revealed that 12 people have been nabbed as a part of a raid against the "Islamic State" (IS).

The raid to arrest IS fighters was conducted at 15 previously decided areas.

On Nov. 5, a huge raid was launched against members of the "Islamic State" in 11 provinces of Turkey, in which, Some 24 people, suspected of financially supporting terrorists in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Libya, were detained.

Also, cash funds of at least USD500,000 and over two million Turkish liras were seized in the raid.
