Oman- Ministry of Tourism bags award at social media influencers summit


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) bagged the Arab Social Networking Influencers Award in the government sector category.

The awards are given by the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit (ASMIS), organised by the Dubai Press Club.

Abdullah bin Salim al Hajri, assistant director general of Administrative Development, in the Ministry of Tourism received the award.

The award comes in recognition of the Ministry of Tourism's outstanding performance and effect in the field of social network. The Ministry of Tourism has been selected as the best Arab governmental organisation that uses social networks in promoting its services and meet customer satisfaction.

ASMIS is the first and biggest event in the region for Arab social networking influencers.

H E Alawi welcomed H E Dr Shahim and wished him a pleasant stay and success in his tour of duty as his country's ambassador to the sultanate.

He also wished for strengthening of relations between the two countries and further progress and growth.

H E Alawi wished H E Li a pleasant stay in Oman as China's envoy.

The two sides reviewed the existing relations between Oman and China, as well as means of enhancing them in various fields, particularly in the economic, educational and scientific spheres.

The meeting was attended by officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
