Every soul on earth loves chocolates.
And, as a kid, we all dreamed of living in a land of chocolate homes and streets and eat them all day long.
Interestingly, that dream was fulfilled for people in Werl, Germany, after a river of chocolate streamed out from a factory onto the streets.
It, however, got solidified on the pavement due to freezing cold.
25 firefighters cleaned the sugary mess using shovels, hot water
Cleaning
A tonne of chocolate flowed out on the street, after a storage tank in the DreiMeister chocolate factory in Westönnen spilled.
After hitting the chilly pavement, the milk-chocolate quickly hardened.
To clean the confectionery mess, 25 firefighters had to use shovels, hot-water and torches.
Every bit of the chocolate was removed from cracks and holes, ensuring that the street didn't become slippery.
Nobody ate the chocolate, not even the volunteers helping
Statement
The firefighters removed 10sqm of chocolate and the cleaning process was followed by street cleaning.
According to the chocolate factory's boss, Markus Luckey, the factory would be back in action soon.
He also said that if the spill had happened closer to Christmas, it would have been a catastrophe.
Also, sources said nobody, including the volunteers, ate the chocolate, given the obvious contamination.

The scene in the German town clearly reminds us of the famous children's movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The movie, based on the novel by Roald Dahl, was about five children visiting a fictional chocolate factory.
It seems like Luckey turned out to be Willy Wonka (owner of the factory in the movie) and the firefighters had their Oompa Loompa (fictional dwarves) moment.
