(MENAFN) Libya's Prime Minister Fayez al-Serraj was unveiled to have been in consultation with Abdlatif al-Hamad, Director General of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
The topic of the talks was the reconstruction of Libya after suffering from a long-standing war which caused severe destruction.
The news was revealed in Tripoli on Tuesday by Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed Sayala during a news conference.
The foreign minister stated: "Fayez Serraj, during his recent visit to Kuwait, met with the Director of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, Dr. Abdlatif al-Hamad."
Sayala added: "Libya is preparing for rebuilding. The possibility of the fund's contribution to future reconstruction projects in Libya has been discussed. The fund has dealt with Libya previously, particularly with regard to the power sector."
