Sudan to receive 100 Chinese peacekeepers


(MENAFN) Sudan is receiving a hundred peacekeepers from China, who are on a peacekeeping operation with duration of one year.

The 100 peacekeepers will be the first group to arrive in Sudan out of a 225-member sapper team, the 15th batch Darfur has welcomed.

The second peacekeepers group will be departing China on December 18th of this year for the mission.

The groups are to be responsible for supplies and engineering projects, restoring buildings, and constructing and repairing houses, roads and airports.
