Jordan- King departs on working visit to Belgium

Amman, Dec.11 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday departed for Belgium on a working visit to discuss opportunities for Jordan's cooperation and partnership with Belgium, the European Union, and NATO.

During the visit, King Abdullah is scheduled to hold talks with Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel, and to meet with European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

His Majesty is also due to visit NATO headquarters and meet with Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and members of the North Atlantic Council.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
