Egypt sees 0.7 percent drop in November's inflation

(MENAFN) Egypt was reported to have posted a 0.7 percent drop in the rate of its inflation in November this year, on annual basis.

The inflation decline was attributed to the cuts on food and beverage prices by 1.4 percent, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

Egypt was able to achieve the second inflation rate reduction this year alone, the statistics agency noted in a statement.

The Egyptian inflation rate on yearly basis, the CAPMAS confirmed, reached 15.6 percent last month, maintaining the 10-16 percent targeted rate of which the central bank set.
