Oman- RO5,000 fine, imprisonment for cutting wild trees: MECA


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- People who cut wild trees can be fined and imprisoned, stated the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (MECA) on its Twitter handle.

'The offence entails up to three months of imprisonment and a fine of RO5,000 and confiscation of tools,' it stated.
