(MENAFN) Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir emphasized the requirement to spare the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) the consequences of the Qatari crisis.
Talking during a press conference following the closing session of the GCC 39th summit, Al-Jubeir stated: "The members of the Gulf Cooperation Council are keen that the crisis with Qatar will have no impact on the Council."
"But this does not mean relinquishing the conditions imposed on Qatar," he added, noting that Doha should halt supporting its support to terrorism, and radicalism and avoid interfering in other countries' businesses.
He affirmed that Qatar needed to fulfill the Arab countries' circumstances to open the road for its return to the full-fledged work in the council.
