Egypt, Kuwait Fund ink 2 financing deals


(MENAFN) Egypt secured two financing agreements with Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) during the Africa 2018 Forum.

Egypt, under the first contract, is to be granted USD50 million for the establishment of four water desalination plants in South Sinai region.

KFAED will also send Egypt under the second pact USD85 million for the government's development plans.

Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Dr Sahar Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Moniem Nasr penned the deals with and KFAED director-general Abdulwahab Ahmed Al Bader.
