(MENAFN) Trump was reported to be targeting an unbelievable amount of money to be injected into the budget of Pentagon for 2019.
The U.S. president is urging for a USD750 billion in the 2019 Pentagon budget following talks with Defense Secretary James Mattis.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, was also attended by the chairmen of the House and Senate Armed Services committees, Representative Mac Thornberry and Senator James Inhofe.
Speaking to Politico, an administration official emphasized: "it's 750 [billion]."
CNN also reported: "secretary Mattis secured that over lunch with the president. That's the top line."
