(MENAFN) Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) is to sell USD160 million worth of 3 drones to Vietnam's government under an agreement.
Vietnam is purchasing the Israeli Heron type 1 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for its army in their various routine operations.
Israel's drones have a range capacity of around 350 kilometers, with an effectiveness of as much as 50 hours.
The drones are also able to carry payloads of as much as a quarter of a ton , based on the mission it will be included in.
