Sudan: five officials die in aircraft crash

(MENAFN) State TV declared that over five local government officials have died after an aircraft plunged into Sudan's eastern al-Qadarif state on Sunday.

The victims included the state's governor and its minister of agriculture.

Many crashes have taken place in Sudan in the last years.

In 2017, four passengers were wounded after their aircraft crashed in South Sudan and struck into a fire truck upon landing and caught fire.
