(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : Sabre and Biman Bangladesh Airlines jointly organised an Agents Seminar on November 27 in to promote sales campaign, name "Winter Benison 2018" which is effective from November 1 to December 31.
Earlier, joint sales promotion seminar was also held in Chattogram and Sylhet.
The Agent Seminar was addressed by Mohammad Saiful Hoque, CEO and Country Manager of Sabre, Md. Shawkat Hossain, Deputy General Manager, Commercial Sales Promotion, District Sales Office, Md Aslam Parvez, Asst Manager, Commercial Admin and Sales Support, Md. Akhtaruzzaman Majumder, Assistant Manager, Revenue Integrity from Biman spoke at the occasion. The discussion was facilitated by Jotirmoy Das, Asst Manager for Business Development of Sabre.
During the course of discussions, the travel agent representatives raised several pressing issues, which they are facing every now and then in selling Biman tickets and urged upon Biman officials of resolve those issues for a rewarding business relationship.
They urged upon Biman to waive wheel chair charges for patients, which most of the other Airlines are providing free of charge.
They also raised the issue of US$50 penalty for cancellation of tickets. The sufferers are mostly the migrant workers, who receive documents late due red tape of bureaucracy.
