(MENAFN) The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) launched an aid campaign to help displaced people in Tripoli, the capital of Libya.
On Sunday, displaced Libyans received sixteen tons of food assistance, or 700 packages, from the Turkish agency.
In a statement, the agency confirmed that it sent pasta, rice, tunafish, and cheese for families who have been displaced as a result of the dispute seen in their region.
The agency is further anticipated to present personnel training, along with uniforms and technical assistance for the Libyan Red Crescent.
