(MENAFN) Local police declared that six people have died as 14 more were wounded after a truck loaded with metal material rammed into vehicles and a bakery in Laguna province south of Manila.
Police confirmed that the 10-wheeler truck travelling downhill on a highway in the town of Santa Rosa around 11:30 p.m. local time on Saturday when it failed to stop and crashed into the vehicles and bakery.
Police added that the victims included 2 girls, aged 1 and 2.
The fatalities were either sleeping inside the bakery or walking on the side of the highway, according to police.
