(MENAFN) Egypt is facing grave obstacles while it attempts to deal with its overpopulation crisis, which caused several negative impacts.
The overpopulation issue in Egypt resulted in economic concerns as it affects the country's reforms on the poor condition.
Egypt, recent official data showed, recorded around 100 million in its population with an annual surge of 2.5 million.
Social Solidarity Committee deputy chairman Mohamed Abu-Hamed stated: "overpopulation makes it more difficult for us to achieve sustainable development in accordance with Egypt's development Vision 2030."
