Israel, Russia to organize security meeting

(MENAFN) On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to organize a meeting between security delegations of both nations soon.

The agreement was reached during the earlier phone conversations between both leaders over the recent Israeli operation on its border with Lebanon, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office.

The statement added that the meeting between both leaders would also be harmonized.

Netanyahu repeated Israel's policy to prevent the formation of an Iranian attendance in Syria and to act against Iranian and Hezbollah violence.
