Amman, Dec.8 (Petra) -- Director of the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management, HRH Prince Ali, on Saturday, met with European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation, coordination and training between the European Union and the center, and the need to hold joint crisis management programs, particularly humanitarian and natural ones.
Prince Ali lauded Jordan-EU ties in various fields, and stressed the need to increase coordination, cooperation and exchange of expertise between the center and the bloc in dealing with crises.
He commended the EU's efforts in dealing with international crises as well as providing various kinds of support to Jordan.
The EU commissioner was briefed on the center's work mechanisms and checked on its global crisis management techniques, praising the center's work procedures in dealing with risks and disasters.
