Kuwaiti oil price down 40 cents to settle at USD 59.09 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- Price of Kuwait's crude oil went down 40 centsto stand at USD 59.09 per barrel (pb) Thursday compared to USD 59.49 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Friday.

In global markets, prices went down five percent after reports of agreement by OPEC members to lower production.

The Brent crude went down USD 2.72 to settle at USD 58.36, while future contracts of West Texas Intermediate lost USD 2.32, settling at USD 50.57 pb. (end) ad.mb
