Qatar- Woqod hosts open Induction Day

DOHA:As part of its Qatarization program, Qatar Fuel Company (Woqod) hosted an open induction day yesterday, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The induction was scheduled in two phases morning and evening to receive applications for vocational training and development program as well as offer an easy access to students for the induction program.

The purpose of the event was to attract Qatari graduates to provide training and development opportunities, and to engage in the work of a fuel company. The motive also commensurate with the level of performance and support the achievement of Qatar National vision 2030 in the development of human capital and the enhancement of national competencies, through this program.

On this occasion, Eng. Saad Rashid Al-Muhannadi, Chief Executive Officer at Woqod, said:

'Under the leadership of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, through The Qatar National Vision 2030, Woqod is committed to participate in developing the Qatari Human Capital with well skilled and qualified Qatari men and women to have the best opportunities to join Woqod workforce with different backgrounds. This endeavor offered us an opportunity to meet with the graduate students and showcase them the tremendous opportunity that Woqod beholds. As part of Woqod's responsibility towards the community, we will train and develop the Qatari competencies across the various technical fields of the organization.
