Amman, Dec.4 (Petra) -- The Foreign Ministry said Tuesday it has been following up, with the Jordanian Embassy in Tell Aviv, the incident that took place Friday morning in Eilat and involved a Jordanian citizen.
The ministry's spokesperson, Majed Qatarneh said the embassy sent its representative to Eilat to follow up on the investigation, noting that the embassy is closely following up on this matter.
The Jordanian is still detained by the Israeli authorities under investigation, Qatarneh explained.
