Algeria blocks 61 illegal immigrants


(MENAFN) APS news agency declared that coastguards in Algeria's western province of Oran on Monday have arrested 61 people from travelling illegally to European shores in three unrelated cases.

The first mission blocked the illegal immigration of 21 people, with six women and four children among them, who were onboard a pneumatic boat were blocked off the coast of Oran.

In the second mission, 21 illegal immigrants, with two women and five children among them, have been stooped while travelling to international waters.

Nineteen more, including one woman and three children, have been nabbed around 12.8 km north of the port of Oran.
