(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Muscat - The Omani-Qatari Business Forum will be opened at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center (OCEC) on Monday. The forum is jointly organised by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) on the sidelines of the four-day 'Made in Qatar' exhibition.
The four-day forum will be opened by H E Yahya bin Said al Jabri, chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm (SEZAD) in presence of H E Ali bin Ahmed al Kawari, Qatar's Minister of Commerce and Industry.
The event will discusses means of enhancing business and economic cooperation between Oman and Qatar. It includes a seminar under the theme 'Industry as a Strategic Option'. The seminar will discuss means of increasing the joint and mutual investments, especially in industrial sectors.
The forum will also discuss means of benefiting from the Omani and Qatari industries in enhancing bilateral trade and reviewing the available investment opportunities in both countries. It will also encourage the Omani and Qatari businessmen to set up joint ventures that serve the economic growth in both countries.
The 'Made in Qatar' exhibition is a platform that gathers factories, companies and small and medium enterprises in Qatar under one roof and introduces them to the Omani businessmen and visitors. The exhibition is also an important platform to enhance business and economic relations between two countries.
