Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival kicks off in Abu Dhabi


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, Nov 30 (KUNA) -- Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival 2018 kicked off at Al-Wathba area in Abu Dhabi on Friday with participation of Arab and Western countries, including Kuwait.

The event, due until January 26 and held under auspices of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyah, includes many cultural and traditional activities.

The festival will have daily displays of the global heritage march, a combination of folkloric performances, as well as the March of Tribes that would mark the UAE's 47th National Day, due Sunday.

The festival encompasses pavilions of 24 countries displaying their heritage and national products. (end) bsu.bs
