(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani encountered with Ali Erbas, the head of Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet), in capital Doha.
The PM expressed thanks Erbas and his attending delegation for the visit, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent who covered the reception.
Erbas, for his part, highlighted the need to boost religious, strategic, economic, political and cultural relations between the two brotherly countries.
On Tuesday, the Turkish official arrived in Qatar for a two-day visit after having visited Jordan on Monday.
