Manama, Nov 26, 2018, SPA -- King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, inaugurated here today a new oil pipeline, made in collaboration between Saudi Aramco and Bahrain Bapco, in order to pump 320,000 barrels per day, with a maximum capacity of 350,000 barrels per day. The length of the pipeline is 110 km, linking Abgaig, in Saudi Arabia, and Bapco refinery, in Bahrain.
Following a welcoming ceremony here today, the Bahraini King and HRH Crown Prince toured a historical exhibition related to the oil industry, held on the sidelines of the inauguration occasion.
