Jordan- Hawamdeh presents credentials to WTO director

Amman, Nov. 25 (Petra)- Jordan's Ambassador to Spain, Areej Hawamdeh, presented her credentials to Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (WTO), Potolikashviti Zura, as the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the UN agency.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed enhancing the partnership between Jordan and the WTO in the field of tourism sector development and the possibility of benefiting from the programs, technical expertise, and knowledge provided by the organization.

Zura highlighted the importance of Jordan as a "distinguished" tourist destination on the global tourism map.
