Jordan- Cold weather to prevail over next two days

Amman, Nov. 24 (Petra)--Relatively cold and partly cloudy weather is expected on Saturday as the Kingdom will remain under the impact of the cold front with scattered rain in various parts of the Kingdom, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The JMD warned of flash floods in valleys and low lying areas due to heavy rain in some regions.

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, but it will remain relatively cold and partly cloudy with a continued chance for light rain in the western regions while winds will be north westerly moderate.

Similar conditions will prevail on Monday with possible fog formation in the morning hours in the hilly areas and the Badia.

Daytime temperatures in Amman will reach a high of 16 degrees Celsius dropping down to 8 degrees, while warmer conditions will prevail in the port city of Aqaba with highs standing at 26 degrees dropping down to 15 degrees at night.
