(MENAFN) A major Syrian radio reporter has been gunned down by armed men in the restive Syrian province of Idlib.
Raed Fares, a popular Syrian activist, has died in the north-western town of Kafranbel.
Mr Fares established Radio Fresh, an independent radio station broadcasting from inside rebel-held locations in the country.
He and his radio station has been attacked by jihadist groups previously.
