(MENAFN) German authorities declared that a man, aged 38, is suspected to have fatally knifed his ex-lover, her new boyfriend and an infant, aged three weeks, before committing suicide.
The dpa news agency confirmed that authorities are still probing the reason behind the crime , which took place either Sunday or Monday.
The corpses of the infant, and three more adults have been discovered in the eastern city of Jena on Monday.
The incident takes place as German authorities intended to publish figures on Tuesday on the rate of domestic violence in the country.
