OPPO RX17 Pro, RX17 Neo expected to launch in India

Chinese electronics giant OPPO has teased the launch of its R-series smartphones in India.
The premium R-series phones were initially exclusive to China, but later OPPO introduced them to other markets like Japan and Europe.
While OPPO has not revealed the devices, we expect RX17 Pro and RX17 Neo to arrive in India given these two were recently launched in Europe.

Design & Display
Up front, both the phones sport a waterdrop-like notched display with 91.5% body-to-screen ratio and dual-tone gradient back panels.
On the back, the RX17 Pro packs a triple camera setup while RX17 Neo gets a dual-lens setup.
Both the phones also feature a 6.4-inch full HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Camera
The RX17 Pro sports a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.5-2.4) main sensor, a 20MP (f/1.6) secondary sensor, and a Time of Flight (T-o-F) 3D camera.
The RX17 Neo gets a dual rear-camera setup consisting a 16MP (f/1.75) main sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor.
Up front, both the phones pack a 25MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper with several AI-powered features.

The OPPO RX17 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a 3,700mAh battery.
On the other hand, the OPPO RX17 Neo gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 3,600mAh battery.
Both the phones run Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 and support SuperVOOC Flash Charge (fast charging technology).
Connectivity options and sensors onboard the phones
Nitty-gritty
Both the OPPO RX17 Pro and RX17 Neo support dual-SIM (Nano) cards, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/c, and GPS.
Notably, the RX17 Pro comes with a USB Type-C port and NFC while the RX17 Neo gets a Micro-USB port.
In terms of sensors, both the phones come with a standard set of sensors along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
OPPO R-series phones could start at around Rs. 30,000
Pricing
Considering the European prices, the OPPO R-series could start in India at around Rs. 30,000. The OPPO RX17 Neo costs EUR 349 (approx. Rs. 29,000) and the OPPO RX17 Pro costs EUR 599 (approx. Rs. 49,800).
Further, the RX17 Pro comes in Radiant Mist and Emerald Green colors while RX17 Neo comes in Mocha Red, and Astral Blue options.
