President Ram Nath Kovind visits Hindu temple complex in Vietnam

President Ram Nath Kovind today visited My Son temple complex in Vietnam, which has Indian influence and houses Hindu deities like Krishna, Vishnu, and Shiva.
Kovind, who is in the Southeast Asian country on a three-day visit as part of his two-nation tour, also planted a tree sapling in the complex to mark his visit.
Kovind's next stop would be Australia.

My Son is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples in Vietnam, constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa.
The complex is located near the village of Duy Phu in Quang Nam Province in Central Vietnam.
It is situated in a valley roughly two kilometers wide and surrounded by two mountain ranges.
