Qatar- QFBA signs MoU with public accountants group


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Qatar Finance & Business Academy (QFBA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA) as part of an initiative to continuously hone the skillsets of its staff.
The MoU was signed by QFBA CEO Dr Khalid al-Horr and QCPA chairman Hashem al-Sayed at the QFBA premises on Thursday. The partnership aims to develop the academic and professional performance of their staff and QFC firms to go hand-in-hand with the social and economic development state-wide.
This MoU entails both the parties to implement joint and specialised training programmes in the fields of accounting, auditing, and other related fields. Both QFBA and QCPA will support and encourage joint research and academic studies in the field of accounting, as agreed by those in charge of such research and studies.
They will jointly host seminars and specialised academic conferences and workshops on topics of mutual interest as well as co-operate in the field of writing and translating academic books in the field of accounting and auditing.
QFBA CEO Dr Khalid al-Horr said: 'We are proud to be allied with Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants to take our journey further and enhance the knowledge paradigms of Qatari professionals by enhancing their skillsets.
