Kuwaiti educator wins patent for reducing persistent fever


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 18 (KUNA) -- The Chairman of Department of Environmental Technology Management in College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University Dr. Bader Al-Anzi has earned a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for inventing a device designed to reduce persistent fever.
The new invention aims to reduce body temperature to normal ranges for a long period of time and medication intake as well without the need for a constant supervision, Al-Anzi said in a press statement Sunday.
The device would contribute significantly to reducing costs and efforts, in addition to treating numerous patients, the Kuwaiti professor said.
It is also convenient and suitable for use in homes, clinics, and hospitals, he added. (end) asa.kah.ma
