(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Nov 18 (KUNA) -- Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held talks on Sunday with Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq Mohammad Al-Halbousi on strong relations between both countries.
The Amir of Qatar met with the visiting Speaker Al-Halbousi and his accompanying delegation, in presence of Chairman of the Qatari Consultative Assembly Ahmad bin Abdullah Al-Mahmud, said Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Al-Halbousi carried greetings and well wishes from Iraqi President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to the Amir of Qatar, it added.
In addition, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad asked Al-Halabousi to convey greetings to the Iraqi President and Prime Minister, wishing them health and prosperity. (end) nnd.hs
