The Haryana Police will start the process to recruit 7,500 new personnel from next month, said Haryana Director General of Police B S Sandhu on Saturday.

The DGP further added that 800 new vehicles will be purchased to strengthen policing in the state.

Further, new police stations will be opened at select locations on the Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) and the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressways.

DGP Sandhu also said that the shortage of police personnel in the district of Palwal would be met through the recruitment process.

Sandhu added that maintaining law and order and proving security to women would be the top priority of the police.

Further, he added that citizens should come forward to report crime against women, and social institutions should work to eliminate social evils.

The new recruits will primarily be used to fill vacancies in the Sub Inspector and Constable posts.

The examination for the post of Sub Inspector, both male and female, will be held on December 2, while examinations for the posts of Constable (Male), and Constable (Female) will be held on December 23, and December 30, respectively.

Examination for people who have applied to the Indian Reserve Battalions of Haryana state will take place on December 30 too.


How to download admit cards, and important dates

Admit cards for the exams can be downloaded from hssc.gov.in.

For the December 2 exams, admit cards will be available for download November 26 onwards.

For the December 23 exam, admit cards will be available from December 15.

Meanwhile, for the exams scheduled on December 30, admit cards can be downloaded December 24 onwards.

No separate notification/reminder will be issued to candidates.


Exam pattern for the recruitment process

Each exam for the aforementioned posts will have a Knowledge Test of 80 marks comprising 100 objective type, multiple choice questions. Exam duration will be of 1 hour 30 minutes.

Each correct answer will fetch 0.8 marks. There will be no negative marking.

The test will include questions on general studies, general science, general reasoning, current affairs, mental aptitude, numerical ability, knowledge of computers, agriculture, animal husbandry, and other relevant topics.
