9 Syrian soldiers kill due to rebels attack on military positions

(MENAFN) On Friday, the ultra-radical insurgent factions, attacked Syrian military locations in the planned demilitarized zone in northern Syria, murder nine soldiers, a war monitor group reported.

The insurgents raided the Syrian locations in the al-Ghab Plains, in the northern countryside of Hama near Idlib province, emphasized the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Five of the insurgents were murdered in the Friday fight, which is the newest breach to the Russian-Turkish demilitarized zone agreement, which went into force in September, to ease the condition in Idlib and surrounding rebel-held areas, as Idlib is the last major rebel stronghold in Syria.

The Britain-based watchdog group affirmed 31 Syrian soldiers and associated forces have been murdered, since the demilitarized zone agreement went into effect in September.
