(MENAFN) U.S. automaker Ford has issued four safety recalls in North America, which will include about 38,236 vehicles.
The biggest recall involves approximately 37,801 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles, both 2018 models, as their second-row center bench seats may be missing J-channel reinforcement brackets in the seat track assembly.
A seat track missing one or both J-channel reinforcement brackets may not properly hold back the seat assembly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury, but Ford said it was not aware of any accidents or injuries resulting from this condition.
The majority of the affected vehicles was sold in the United States and federalized territories, with 1,900 in Canada and 955 in Mexico.
