(MENAFN) Lebanon received a pledge from the World Bank to be granted full endorsement in all fields, as confirmed WB vice president for Middle East and North Africa, Ferid Belhaj.
The top WB official stressed: "the priority for Lebanon today goes, of course, to the reforms that have been promised at CEDRE conference which are essential and necessary at this stage."
The announcement was made by the WB vice president in Baabda Palace while speaking to Lebanon's President Michel Aoun.
During the meeting, the two sides explored opportunities of cooperation between Lebanon and the World Bank.
