(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : An air accident drill has held at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city on Thursday.
Present to witness the drill were AKM Shahjahan Kamal, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Md Mohibul Haque, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan, Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and other high officials.
CAAB Fire Service, Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Police, Rapid Action Battalion, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP personnel and representatives of Biman and other airlines took part in the drill.
The drill is held every two year as per ICAO directive.
