(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Nov 16 (KUNA) -- Iraqi President Barham Salih is set to begin an official visit to Iran and Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
During his stay in Tehran, Salih is expected to meet with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani and several other senior Iranian officials to discuss bilateral cooperative relations and the latest regional situation, according to an Iraqi presidential statement.
The Iraqi president's accompanying delegation comprises a number of ministers and advisors, it said.
The Iraqi leader had made a recent regional tour of Kuwait, UAE and Jordan. (end) ahh.mt
