ABU DHABI, 15th November, 2018 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) announced that it has succeeded in achieving a compliance rate of 97 percent regarding the disclosure of the 3rd quarter financial statements of its listed public joint stock companies within the deadline of 45 days from the end of the financial period 30th of September 2018.
63 out of 65, local and foreign, public listed companies disclosed their Q3 financial statements for 2018 within the 45 days period given.
Combined net profit of all listed companies as of 30th September 2018 has shown an increase of 1.59 percent in comparison to the same period in 2017. The highest recorded increase was in the insurance sector with an increase of 58.49 percent, followed by the energy sector with an increase of 27.64 percent.
On this occasion, ADX stated that the collaboration between the Exchange and its listed companies has always proved to be a productive one.
