Congo: death toll of Ebola outbreak reaches 177


(MENAFN) The country's Health Ministry declared that Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo since late July has claimed 177 lives.

The Health Ministry added that 341 patients of hemorrhagic fever were registered in the North Kivu province, which later expanded to the province of Ituri.

The ministry added that 303 among the hemorrhagic fever cases, have tested positive to Ebola.

At least 100 people have reportedly been completely recovered from the virus.
