(MENAFN) Egypt was hailed by Belarus for the significant part it played in the achievement of a resolution within the regions.
The statement was made on Thursday during talks between Egyptian Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel-Aal Sayed Ahmed, and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
The Belarusian president stressed: "we appreciate the role that Egypt is playing again in that turbulent region. We are keeping a close eye on the conflict in Palestine, on the role that Egypt is playing in stabilizing the situation and settling the relations between Israel and Palestine."
Lukashenko added that the two countries were able to secure various agreements when Egypt welcomed a Belarusian delegation.
