(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is working with the Civil Defense to provide food aid and blankets to the people who fled their homes to shelters due to the heavy downpour.
The Society offered hot meals and 250 blankets various shelters made available by the Civil Defense, coordinator of the KRCS volunteer dept. and representative of the Society to the Civil Defense Khaled Al-Mutairi told KUNA on Thursday.
Four families, including 25 persons, were admitted to shelters at schools of the Ministry of Education after their homes were damaged by the rains, he added. (end) fr.sam.gb
